Application Components (Azure Services)
Service Function App
All challenges of this lab are focused to this component. It mainly provides a simple RESTful API of:
- Persons
- Projects
- Technologies
- Search (used for challenge D02)
- User-profile (used for challenge D04)
Emulator Function App
This is just a utility function to initialize some data (seeding) and to simulate usage by periodically calling the REST API of the service function. It is not foreseen to do anything with this function when working on the challenges.
Web Application
The folder Garaio.DevCampServerless.ClientApp contains a very simple Single Page Application realized with Angular and the free template from MDBootstrap.
This Demo UI consumes all API methods provided by the Service Function App and allows the implementation and testing of the challenges (especially those regarding Search and Authentication functionality). Its is possible but not intended by the challenges to adjust and extend functionality in this application.

Deployment
Follow this manual which establishes:
- Setup of an Azure DevOps project with a fork of the given repository. You may use this to save the solutions you implemented.
- Authorize and link the DevOps project with your Azure Subscription.
- Creation of a pipeline which completely deployes the application to your Azure Subscription. You can use this anytime to create additonal environments or update/reset an existing environment.
